ASNA Visual RPG for .NET Programming Class - Intermediate
This class covers AVR for .NET Web programming in detail, explaining how to use AVR for .NET to create effective and powerful ASP.NET Web-based applications. The class will cover best practices, tips and techniques for creating ASP.NET Web apps with AVR for .NET.
This 5-day class shows you how to do web application beyond the basic. You will learn:
- How to write your first program
- How to develop web beyond the basics
- How to use datagrid and alternatives
- How to use advanced concepts

Prerequisites:
No Visual Basic or RPG experience is assumed--but some of either will be quite helpful.
Class begins each day at 8:45 AM and concludes by 5:00PM on the final day. Casual attire is recommended for training classes.
ASNA Visual RPG for .NET Programming Class - Advanced
To attend this class you must be an advanced level AVR for .NET 8.0 programmer with two or three applications under your belt. This class uses AVR for .NET 8.0 and Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, so experience with those products is assumed. This class covers very little introductory material and by mid-morning Monday morning moves into advanced topics.
After attending this class, you will have a well-rounded knowledge of how to partition applications appropriately with classes and how to add many sophisticated capabilities to Windows and Web applications.

ASNA Monarch Application Modernization Bootcamp
This 4-day class covers ASNA Monarch technology in detail. A good understanding of RPG/ILE, DDS and CL is assumed as well as some intermediate knowledge of AVR for .NET. A general knowledge of RPG, CL and DDS
Additional criteria for attending this class includes:
- Attending AVR for .NET intermediate session and/or least 30 days experience with AVR for .NET (preferably both)
- At least cursory skills with Internet-related technologies such as HTML and JavaScript
This class covers best practices, tips and techniques for modernizing and migrating applications using Monarch and AVR for .NET.
After attending this class, students will have a well-rounded knowledge of the ways to use Monarch to modernize applications.
