IBM i platform
DataGate for IBM i connects .NET applications directly to the OS/400 DB2 UDB database. When connected to the IBM i platform, DataGate for IBM i provides client applications read/write record-level access, remote program calls to OS/400 program objects and OS/400 object management.
Microsoft’s SQL Server
DataGate for SQL Server allows the same .NET applications that connect to IBM i to connect without code change to Microsoft’s SQL Server.
